If you be Honey, and I, a bee,
Why not let nature take its course?
We should be partners, naturally;
Instead, cold friendship you enforce.
Our union should be all the buzz,
Lovers should mimic our aesthetic,
Like Hero by Leander was
Be wooed, and let me wax poetic.

You call me yellow, say I bumble,
Yet when I sting, You call me prick;
But you, wasp-like, do start the rumble,
Snuff out my flame, get on my wick.
If you profess a Queen to be,
Then let me nest inside your hive;
That you may have your fill of me,
And keep our argument alive.

So let's be one, royal Honeybee,
And spawn a brand new colony.
