Your method of choice is breathless stony silence
I'd much prefer the violence of a kiss.
The sort of intense fury that occurs
when blood boils red hot and
the metronome heart-fat as a pumpkin-
pounds inside a prison of ribs.

The sort of unbridled physical force
fueled by fascist thrashing pulses
and thirsty carnivorous fangs,
breaching the bulwark of warm flesh
and piercing through the pretense
of your passive resistance.

It's these thoughts and mental images
that keep me from losing my mind
as I sit face-to-face with you
enduring your taciturn
emasculating and emotionless
presence.
